Hey guys, there are a few events that are coming up so you need to mark your calendars and make your you remind your parents!
1. Adventure Landing!
When: Friday, September 14.
Depature: Meeting at the SEBTS Ledford Center at 5:30 p.m.
Cost: $15.00- Includes Go-karts, Putt-putt, and Laser-tag, Game Tokens, 2 slices of pizza and a drink.
Return: We will return to the SEBTS Ledford Center at 9:30
2. The Gathering 07- Youth Fall Retreat
When: Friday, November 2- Sunday, November 4
Where: Cornerstone Baptist Church in Wake Forest, NC.
Topic: The Worshiper
Speaker: Aaron Rice
Worship Band: TBA
Cost: $30.00 - Includes meals all day Saturday and Breakfast on Sunday, Speaker, Worship Band, T-shirt, Retreat Booklet, etc.
Details: We will break into small groups and stay with those small groups in host homes on Friday and Saturday night.
Other churches: We will be partnering with Forest Hills Baptist of Burgaw, Gainesville Baptist of Lincolnton, Grace Baptist from Wilson, and Cornerstone Baptist of Wake Forest.
I am definitely excited about everything that will be going on this semester! God is so good and He has great things in plan for the Youth Group and for OMV as a whole! Let's continue to be faithful to all that he has challenged us to do, such as our quiet times, our scripture memory, and our personal witnessing to our friends and family.
